I'm her. 👋🏽
I show up. You show up. We work out together — like two friends at the gym, minus the part where your friend cancels. No programming, no judgment, no burpee drill sergeant. Just a standing date with your own goals.
Your gym, your pace, your playlist. I just make sure you're actually there.
The difference between skipping and showing up is usually one person counting on you.
You already know how to work out. That was never the problem.
"I've lost track of how many times I've fallen off the bandwagon."
Week one is great. Week two gets busy. Week three, the membership quietly becomes a donation. It's not discipline you're missing — it's accountability.
"I feel like everybody's looking at me when I walk in."
They're not — and with me by your side, you won't feel that way. Walking in next to a friend changes the whole room.
"My workout is the first thing I cancel."
Long day? Late meeting? Canceling on yourself is easy — nobody notices. Canceling on a friend who's already in the parking lot? Different story.
"I just don't have anybody to go with."
Your gym person moved. Schedules stopped lining up. Life happened. Whatever the reason — working out alone gets old fast, and with me, you won't have to.
You don't need more willpower. You need accountability.
Deliberately simple. The whole point is removing reasons not to go.
Pick a session that fits your week. After you book, I'll give you a call so we can get acquainted before day one — no strangers in the parking lot.
(I'll text you first so you know it's me 😉)
Your gym (just confirm they allow a guest), a park, or an outdoor spot. Your membership, your turf, your comfort zone.
We work out side by side — your workout, your pace. I'm there to make it feel like going with a friend, because that's exactly what it is.
Clear expectations make good workout buddies.
Hi, I'm Joy. I've spent my career in corporate IT consulting — a world where showing up prepared, on time, every time isn't a personality trait, it's the job. That's exactly what you're hiring.
But through every career I've had, fitness has been part of my life — and I mean all of its seasons. I've been the super-fit version of me (personal record: 390 lb leg press). And I've also been super chubby 🤭. I don't mention either one to impress you or judge you — I mention them so you know I've truly been on both sides of the fitness fence. The cycle of falling off and climbing back on? I haven't just watched it. I've lived it. More than once. That's not a discipline problem. That's human nature.
What actually breaks the cycle isn't another workout plan or more willpower. It's accountability — someone expecting you to show up. That's the whole service: not a trainer, not a coach. A workout buddy who turns your gym time into a standing date with a friend — so the workouts actually happen, the habit actually sticks, and the goals you keep promising yourself finally get met.
Pay per workout, or subscribe and save. No contracts, no initiation fees, no fine print gymnastics.

If we don't click after our first gym date, it's on me — full refund, no hard feelings. The scariest part of this is meeting someone new. So I'm taking that risk off your plate.
For comparison: independent and boutique trainers typically run $75–$150+ per session — for programming you can download for free online. What you can't download is someone in the parking lot counting on you to show up. That's what I do. Full policies & guarantee terms →
Your workout, your pace — I'm right beside you doing it too. Whether that's weights, cardio, a class, or a walk, you pick. I'm there to make it feel like going with a friend, keep the energy up, and make sure it happens.
Because free ones cancel. Friends get busy, schedules drift, and two people who both struggle to show up can't hold each other accountable. When showing up is literally my job, it stops being luck. You're not paying for company — you're paying for certainty.
My home base is the Vinings/Cumberland area (30339), and I travel up to about 30 minutes for sessions. Not sure if you're in range? Email me at support@joywillis.com before booking and we'll figure it out.
Before booking, please confirm your gym allows a guest or guest pass — most do. No gym? No problem: we can meet at a park or outdoor spot around Atlanta (early morning and evening slots are the move in summer).
Every new client starts with a quick phone call before our first session — so day one feels like meeting up with someone you know, not a stranger with a duffel bag. And for everyone's comfort and safety, first sessions happen at staffed gyms or public parks — home and building gyms are for established clients.
Subscriptions don't roll over unused sessions — accountability is literally the product 😄 — but real life gets grace. Traveling for work, going on vacation, or under the weather? Give me a heads-up and we'll reschedule within the month like friends do.
This isn't a women-only thing — everybody needs a gym buddy. Same accountability, same energy, zero judgment.
Imagine being the person whose gym habit just… sticks. That's not a discipline transplant. That's just what happens when someone's expecting you to show up.
Stop negotiating with your alarm clock. Put someone in the parking lot who's expecting you — and actually excited to see you.
